Plans and fees
Your account is on one plan at a time. The dashboard's hero strip shows the active plan and the current billing period.
The dashboard KPIs
| KPI | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Plan | The display name of the plan your account is subscribed to (e.g. Free, Pro, Enterprise). |
| Current period | Start and end dates of the billing window in effect today. |
The period is whatever the subscription's term defines — typically calendar-month or calendar-year. The exact dates land on the subscription record at sign-up and at each renewal.
What a plan controls
The active plan sets these account-wide ceilings:
| Field | Used at |
|---|---|
| Display name | Shown as the Plan KPI on the dashboard. |
| Active project cap | Enforced by the Create project dialog. Some plans have no cap. |
| Default rate-limit ceiling (burst / sustained) | Seeded into new projects as their starting rate-limit values. Each project's actual limits live on the project itself and can be edited from the project detail page. |
Per-call action prices are master data on the service side and
are not affected by the plan. The price for the call that landed
is on the corresponding Usage ledger row.
Fees
The subscription record carries the fee snapshot for the active period:
- Base fee — declared in the account's currency at sign-up.
- Discount percent — any promotional discount applied at sign-up.
- Amount charged — the net amount billed for the current period.
- Currency — three-letter currency code.
- Auto-renew — whether the period rolls forward automatically.
- Renews at — the date the next renewal will trigger when
auto-renew is on.
nullwhen auto-renew is off. - Status — the lifecycle state of the subscription (e.g.
active,paused).
These fields snapshot at sign-up and at each renewal, so a fee change on the plan master record never retroactively alters the amount already billed for an in-flight period.
